Gear Warning System for Experimental Category Amphibian Aircraft!
Part #: P/N 2048
This unit, provides both voice and visual warning if the landing gear is not in the correct position for either a runway landing or a water landing. It's airspeed activated, and activation speed is easily set from 45 to 120 mph. The unit consists of a small electronic module [2.5 inch by 3.25 inch weighing less than 1 lb], and a panel mounted switch with light.
For multiple light systems, if the electronics determines that all the wheels are in the correct position up[water landing] or down[runway landing]... it will give a voice alert indicating so and flash an LED also. If the electronics determines that all the wheels are not in the same position, all down or all up the pilot is given a voice alert for... corrective action to be taken!
Works with aircraft having 1, 3, or 4 indicating lights or simple switches that provide gear position... Linear Actuators[with feedback]. The unit can be acquired online from Aircraft Components inc.
The unit is sold as a complete system including the electronic unit, a pre-made cable assembly, a pre-wired switch, connecters, mounting hardware etc.

#BECDP60B Beckson Screw Out Black Deck 6" Plate:
Deck plates are used for access, inspection, and clean out for tanks and float compartments, or just as a general access for shut-off valves or back fastenings.
The Beckson Screw-Out Plate is designed to provide access without the use of tools, with a single start, non-jamming extra strong, self-cleaning buttress thread. They feature a self-aligning center and an innovative gasket to assure a watertight seal.
A patented back-up sealing wall leaves the plate waterproof, even if the gasket is removed. The clear center plates permit observation of controls or gauges and visual inspection without the necessity of removing the plate.
